This helps us identify potential deficiencies that might be missed during a basic visual inspection, including plumbing leaks, air duct leaks, moisture intrusion, inadequate or non-existent insulation, heating and cooling losses, abnormal heat from electrical systems or appliances, and energy sources like in-floor heating.

Yes. Thermographic cameras are designed to detect surface temperature variations; they cannot see behind walls, floors, or ceilings. Furthermore, factors like weather conditions, accessibility, and the time elapsed since a defect presented itself can influence results. We recommend consulting with your inspector at least 24 hours prior to the inspection to discuss any potential limiting factors.

Our mold remediation process is comprehensive and follows strict safety protocols. We utilize containment barriers with airlock systems and decontamination zones to prevent the spread of contaminants. During remediation, we employ negative air fans and air scrubbers continuously to maintain containment and purify the air.

Yes. Mold growth within HVAC ducts poses significant health risks. We perform specialized duct cleaning using physical tools like rotary brushes or air whips to dislodge mold and debris. This is paired with HEPA-filtered vacuum systems to ensure microscopic particles are trapped and not reintroduced into the environment. We also apply antimicrobial/antifungal treatments (MMR) to surfaces to provide long-term protection against regrowth.

Moisture control is critical. We utilize industrial-grade dehumidifiers to manage humidity, aiming to keep indoor relative humidity below 55% to discourage mold growth and material degradation.
